Maybe you've already visited official website for news and details about some visuals. Also, you may have entered Le Shop, the official trading place to explore pictures I make and give some support (if not -> Go NOW !!! ). As for everything, this part of Kyesos.com website may evolve soon ; here are the details.



--- LE SHOP general news :

After a buggy February 2012 making the thumbnails and large previews not available (thank's no thanks PHP update) the situation is back to normal. This gives the opportunity to prepare inclusion of new selected works from the past 15 months, starting on a 1 by day basis for end of March.



--- LE SHOP images categories :

As the galleries are becoming more and more populated, I'm thinking of changing categories. Goal is to merge the "Gallery" part of website with its original creations and "Shop" part with quite standard/stock content. For this reason, Le Shop categories may change without warning, replacing actual "Type" order with a more "Collections" selections. I still have some doubts about ergonomy of all of this, because some of you are used to quickly find an image by it's type rather than by the collection that should include it (a Collection can contain more different kind of images, ain't it ?). Anyway, the internal search engine still there to help exploration.
All advices about this are welcome...



--- LE SHOP images pricing lowered ?

Another great change will be about Digital Content. As you can order images for instant use, without specifying what you'll make of it, I thought it could be interesting to change the content distribution politics of the site.
I'm not a (C) (R) TM addict. In a digital world basically made of content, I'm of those agreeing that medias should be shared at no fees for individual. But also as an artist, I need still have control of my distributed content to avoid non authorized commercial use of my works.

Actually, image pricing is quite high but you can access high definition content in a minute and work with it. I would like to lower those fees to ridiculous amount to divide customers in 2 clear users profiles :
- private : those who appreciate, share and use for themselves in non commercial goals
- commercial : those who need to exploit images for use generating money (communication on any media support)

The goal is to offer high definition files at amount lowered at 1€ for fans and images addicts, while keeping ultra high definition works at fair prices for professionals who needs images on demand.
You could say, from your private user point of view, "Hey buddy, why not keep first category totally free ?". And I would agree in the idea... but since I've got to support hardware, software and server fees, I feel honest to have fans proving they support, even if requested participation is ridiculous.

Support is what makes an artist's independance. Without it, we would all be cursed to make commercial shits only and other creations without passion.
On all this, your comments are also welcome. I do not pretend to prepare the best distribution system ever, just a fair way to satisfy needs and availability...



Well, thank's for reading all thess boring explanations. It was needed. Now I'm going back to work because all thoses changes won't happen with a snap of fingers ! ^^
